Koert van Zon releases ‘Unchained Reality’

The album release of Unchained Reality’s self-titled album embarks a fresh start for Dutch metal vocalist Koert Van Zon. Resulting in a trash influenced heavy metal sound and straight to the point lyrics which definitely reflect Van Zon’s idiosyncratic mind. With the album Unchained Reality, Van Zon opens his heart and reveals his thoughts in a direct and uncompromised way.

Van Zon and guitarist and the album’s producer; Daan Janzing joined their writing forces in one of the most intense compositions on the album; You Will Always Be Alive (Ad’s Song). A wonderful song that pays tribute to Koert’s friend “The Fozz”, Ad Van Oudheusden, who passed away. It also was released as the album’s first single on june 12, as a teaser for the album. Other participation during the process of song writing came from Sebas Honing and Don Dietvorst, which resulted in heavy, straight forward compositions; highlighting Koert’s powerful, intense vocals and his tight accompanying band.
