Your own @acdc.com – mailadres… How cool would that be! Recently, the greatest hard rock band in the world launched an initiative for the die hard fan: since the beginning of March anyone can create their own email address on the AC/DC domain. And you can win one over here!

AC/DC has its own official domain @acdc.com opened in cooperation with the German provider mail.de and open to anyone who wants to show his solidarity with the band. Each user can register his personalized email address via the band’s website: www.acdc.com/fan-mail. The mail account can be accessed via webmail, but can be opened in apps for Android and Apple as well. In addition, the user can access his account with e-mail programs such as Mozilla Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook by using IMAP / POP3.

The AC/DC account gives users 10GB of data storage, an address book and a calendar, in which all major AC/DC events are about to be seen, all over the world. There is also online storage provided for music, videos, documents and photographs, and a media player that can be used as a desktop application or via its apps.

Both the inbox as the apps are designed in AC/DC-style. After registration and payment, the user receives a fan kit, which includes a ‘Rock or Bust “T-shirt and a sticker kit worth $40. The AC/DC fan mail does cost $2.99 per month and duration of the account is at least one year.
