NecromiconGerman 80’s Thrash Metal veterans Necromicon announced that they will be co-headlining the 2016’s edition of the Metal Embrace Festival taking place in Barleben, Germany this coming September. Metal Embrace Festival started from humble beginnings in 2004 as mere Metal Parties. Gradually these parties expanded into an outdoor festival starting 2007. To date, the festival continues to be showcase for the best acts in Underground Extreme and classic Metal scene in Europe.

Sharing the stage with Necromicon this year will be Black Messiah, Obscurity, Attic, Abrogration, Purgatory, Contradiction, Spectral, Stallion, Kamikaze Kings among the deadly lineup taking part in a diverse two days of Metal.

Recently Necromicon released its new album “Pathfinder… Between Heaven and Hell” via Trollzorn Records. The album displays the band’s utmost dirty Speed / Thrash Metal directive, yet also unveiling a glittering sense towards the epic. A perfect combination for a Thrash Metal album with a taste for more.

Throughout the last three decades, Necromicon have been known as one of Germany’s Thrash Cult prospects; with eight studio albums under their belts and appearances all over the world in the past three decades they prove they have still got that Metal spirit. With their aggressive guitar work, dominating soaring vocals and thunderous drums, it’s evident that they are not ones to miss.
