unnamedNew Jersey/New York-based progressive metal artists Binary Code recently released their long-awaited full-length album Moonsblood. As is obvious to any listener, Binary Code takes their instrumentation and gear very seriously. Today, the band conveys the serious (and not so serious) nature of their gear obsession via “Rigged” video. The video was filmed in the Randolph Performing Arts Center in Randolph, New Jersey and showcases the band’s full instrumental arsenal. In other gear news – last week, Binary Code provided an exclusive look at two Moonsblood guitar play-throughs for the tracks ‘Immersion’ and ‘Dark Meditations’.

Binary Code has new touring plans in the works, but before setting off on the road, they’ll perform on June 15th at Dingbatz in Clifton, NJ. Don’t miss this special show – the band plans to play Moonsblood in its entirety. Tickets are available from the venue – don’t miss this opportunity to see the band’s new opus live!

Moonsblood was engineered and mixed by Eyal Levi (August Burns Red, The Contortionist, Monuments) at Audiohammer Studios and mastered by Alan Douches (Suicide Silence, Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge) at West West Side Music. Moonsblood features new vocalist Oded Weinstock and offers up a heavy, melodic and progressive sound. Focused and tightly written, Moonsblood boasts powerful vocal hooks, huge, thundering riffs, gorgeous atmospheric tapestries and impressively technical musicianship and songwriting.
