Red Dirt Metal outlaws and steadfast “THC” endorsers Texas Hippie Coalition will release their heaviest album yet, Dark Side Of Black, on April 22 via Carved Records. In celebration of the holiday and their impending album release, THC have revealed their very latest music video for the new track “Angel Fall” today!

Vocalist Big Dad Ritch states, “Putting this video together, we knew we had to make haste, because we had to get on down the highway. As many people out there in the world know, if you’re a musician, the only real way to make any money is to take the stage. And we put more miles on tires than any motorcycle club in the nation.

When you take a look at this video, you’ll notice the simplicity. I made sure the camera targeted in on the players faces, their emotions, and what they were going through playing the song. We just let what’s inside them pour out onto the film. Nothing big about this, no inserts of visions that some director might whip up and to try and show what the singer/songwriter was trying to portray. We kept it pure and raw, just the way I like it. We wanted to keep it plain, let you see the darkness, let the black shine in, let the shadows on the face block exactly how the lips are moving where the words can’t be seen.

The song itself is about a young girl who was considered by all to be a beautiful angel. But she chose a path that was not a righteous one. It led her astray, and it left the angel with a broken wing. Now with her broken wing, is she still as pretty to you? Is she still as valuable to you, and can she ever be returned to grace again? It’s her road that she has chosen, it’s her path. You can’t help her down this path, you can only pray for her. And hope that your prayers are answered. And in the Lord so answering your prayers, he guides this little angel back to a mended heart.”
